The Florida Association of Medical Examiners (FAME) 2026 Educational Conference is designed to provide medical examiners, forensic pathologists, investigators, and multidisciplinary partners with high-quality continuing medical education focused on leadership, operations, and complex medicolegal death investigation. The program features expert-led sessions spanning specialized and unusual deaths, injury mechanisms, courtroom testimony, aviation and motorsports fatalities, emerging environments such as spaceflight, public health reporting, tissue donation, forensic anthropology, and workforce development to strengthen practice, collaboration, and public trust.
The AOA and FAME has implemented a policy to comply with the current Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education requiring resolution of all conflicts of interest. All individuals involved in planning the activity who declared a relevant ineligible company will be identified prior to the start of the activity.

FAME 2026 invites professionals, researchers, and subject-matter experts to submit proposals to present or speak at this year’s conference.
